Submission Writeback Now Supported in BH4SF Match Candidates
Automations
Bullhorn Automation's Match Candidates step now supports automated submission writeback for Bullhorn for Salesforce (BH4SF) customers, enabling end-to-end match-to-submission workflows without manual intervention.
What's new?
The Match Candidates step in Job-Based Automations now supports submission writeback for BH4SF customers. When a candidate is matched to a job, Bullhorn Automation can automatically create an Application V2 record in Salesforce, linking the matched candidate and job directly in your ATS.
Why does it matter?
Previously, BH4SF customers had no automated path to push matched candidates back into Salesforce, requiring recruiters to manually log or create submissions after the fact. This update closes that gap by enabling fully automated match-to-submission workflows, so recruitment teams can:
-
Keep Salesforce records accurate and up to date without manual effort
-
Work from a complete, actionable pipeline without leaving their ATS
-
Reduce administrative overhead and focus on higher-value recruitment activities
How do I enable this?
This feature is configured within the Match Candidates step on any Job-Based Automation in Bullhorn Automation.
-
Step 1: Navigate to the automation containing your Match Candidates step, or create a new Job-Based Automation.
-
Step 2: Open the Match Candidates step settings.
-
Step 3: Enable the option to create a submission when a candidate is matched.
-
Step 4: Save your changes and activate the automation.
Once enabled, any candidate meeting the match criteria will automatically generate an Application V2 record in Salesforce with the associated Candidate ID and Job ID. No status or source field mapping is required. BH4SF handles those values based on your existing Salesforce configuration.
